8 Truck Yards
Every City, by Its Nearest Yard
Every city we serve, listed under the truck yard it is closest to (straight-line distance between city centers), with the landfills and street rules that set each region apart. Each linked city has its own page with the local rule and its sources.
Salt Lake Valley and Bountiful
Three yards cover the valley. Trans-Jordan Cities runs a landfill in South Jordan and a transfer station in Sandy for its eight member cities, Salt Lake County’s Salt Lake Valley Landfill is on California Avenue, and Bountiful runs its own city landfill. Street rules change at every city line: Salt Lake City wants permits and lighted barricades, Herriman has a 14-day encroachment permit, and Bountiful needs the city’s permission.

Point of the Mountain and North Utah County
Draper is closer to our Lehi yard than to any Salt Lake County yard, so the Lehi trucks cover both sides of the Point. North Pointe Solid Waste Special Service District serves Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs from its Lindon transfer station and runs a construction and demolition landfill in Fairfield; Eagle Mountain is not one of its participating cities.
Central and South Utah Valley
Provo, Springville and Spanish Fork are among the seven cities that own South Utah Valley Solid Waste District, whose Dry Creek Transfer Station is in Spanish Fork. Orem, though closest to our Springville yard, belongs to North Pointe and its Lindon transfer station.
Our Springville yard
Davis and Weber Counties
Weber County’s transfer station is in Ogden, where WM has run its collection since July 1, 2026, and Weber County also lists the Moulding & Sons Landfill for demolition loads. Wasatch Integrated’s Davis Landfill is in Layton.
Wasatch Back
Park City and Heber City share our Heber City yard. Summit County sends commercial construction and demolition loads to its Henefer Landfill, and Wasatch County’s transfer station no longer takes contractor loads. Park City wants a right-of-way permit for a dumpster or a porta potty in the street, and Heber City wants dumpsters off the street from November 15 to April 1.
Our Heber City yard
Tooele Valley
Tooele County manages the landfill south of Tooele off SR 36. Tooele’s code keeps dumpsters out of the street right-of-way before, during and after construction, so cans there go on the lot.
